Garlic Chicken &Red Wine Sauce
  1. 2 1/2 tsp Olive oil
  2. 1/2 c brown sugar ( original recipe called for 2 c)
  3. 2 1/2 tsp minced garlic
  4. 2 1/2 lb skinless boneless chicken
  5. 3/4 c Pinot Noir wine
  6. Salt and pepper to taste
  1. Heat oil on med high, add garlic cook till tender then add chicken . Cook chicken about 10-15 minutes until no longer pink inside. Drain oil from skillet and sprinkle chicken with brown sugar, pour wine around chicken cover and simmer about .20-15 minutes basting frequently with the wine sauce. The last 10 minutes I uncovered to allow the sauce to thicken a bit.
